TSMC Arizona's first fab will operate it's leading-edge semiconductor process technology (N4 process), starting production in the first half of 2025. The second fab will utilize its leading edge N3 and N2 process technology and be operational in 2028. The recently announced third fab will manufacture chips using 2nm or even more advanced process technology, with production starting by the end of the decade.   1. Building Maintenance Technician

  • The Building Maintenance Technician is a vital member of our facilities team, responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and appearance of our non-operational facilities, including buildings, site hardscape, and landscaping. This role requires a proactive and skilled individual capable of performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues, and implementing effective solutions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented and dedicated to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing environment for all occupants and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Building Systems Maintenance:
    • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC units, lighting fixtures, basic electrical circuits, and plumbing fixtures.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems and equipment, implementing timely and effective repairs.
    • Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on doors, windows, locks, and other building components.
  • Interior & Exterior Upkeep:
    • Execute general carpentry tasks, including drywall repair, painting, and trim work.
    • Perform flooring repairs and replacements (e.g., tile, carpet, vinyl).
    • Assist with the maintenance of site hardscape (e.g., pathways, parking lots) and landscaping (e.g., irrigation, minor planting, debris removal).
    • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of maintenance areas and equipment.
  • Problem Solving & Customer Service:
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritizing tasks to minimize disruption and ensure safety.
    • Diagnose and resolve a wide array of commercial building maintenance issues independently or as part of a team.
    • Communicate effectively with building occupants and management regarding maintenance activities and timelines.
    • Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor, consistently delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and relevant building codes.
    • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
    • Identify and report potential safety hazards to management.
  • Documentation & Inventory:
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
    • Assist with inventory management of tools, equipment, and supplies.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or GED.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial building maintenance or a related field.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in MEP capabilities, including basic electrical troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, and HVAC filter changes/minor adjustments.
    • Skilled in drywall repair, painting, and general carpentry.
    • Ability to diagnose and resolve a broad range of building maintenance issues effectively.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals or blueprints (basic level).
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.

  • Physical Requirements:

    • Other required trainings will be provided (LOTO, PPE, Ladder, etc.)
