POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill the permanent, full-time position of Maintenance Manager - Resident for the District Union building located in Terrebonne.
The Maintenance Manager - Resident is responsible for coordinating the activities of the housekeeping staff, managing requisitions, and ensuring the security of the buildings at all times. They perform various tasks related to building maintenance and the management of maintenance and renovation projects.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management
  • Coordinate the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Develop, publish and update any emergency plans
  • Ensure optimal management of your building
  • Ensure that new maintenance employees are correctly trained in a timely manner
  • Establish quality standards that are in keeping with established norms
  • Inspect buildings and coordinate interviews according to established standards
  • Set clear quality standards for each service provided
  • Supervise outsie contractors working in the building
Construction
  • Be available to respond to emergencies
  • Supervise the maintenance of the equipment
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexibility for the work schedule
