Building Maintenance Assistant will perform various preventative maintenance, repairs, and hands-on work within JLL standards and guidelines in Santa Ana, CA. This role involves implementing operations, maintenance, and facilities strategies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient buildings, building systems, and equipment.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
  • Perform basic maintenance functions and task to maintain structures and common areas to the high standards of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) at a contract facility site.
  • Enhance the property value and user satisfaction by providing mechanical services at the property. A good understanding of mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance is preferred but not necessary as this is an entry-level position with little or no prior relevant training or work experience required.
  • Assist with all HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing tickets.
  • Maintain proper order and cleanliness in tool room, storage, and back of house areas Verifies the accuracy of stock inventory & deliveries for count, pricing, and description
  • Supports the Engineering and IFM team in any other duties as assigned P
  • Participates in emergency response procedures, technical training programs, and safety training programs as required by JLL M
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate a high level of customer care
  • Training courses are required and provided

Desired experience and technical skills
Requirements:
  • Proficiency with computers and programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Physical ability to bend, sit, kneel, squat, stand, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions during daylight and nighttime hours

Preferred:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated compensation for this position:
45,400.00 - 65,600.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
