What You'll Do

As a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced technicians and foremen while learning the installation, service, and repair of commercial fire sprinkler systems.

You'll learn how to:

  • Install fire sprinkler piping and components.
  • Read blueprints and job drawings.
  • Safely use hand and power tools.
  • Assist with inspections, testing, and repairs.
  • Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment.
  • Work safely on construction sites and in occupied buildings.
  • Follow company safety policies and industry standards.
  • Build the knowledge and skills needed to become a licensed Fire Sprinkler Journeyman.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
  • Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Mechanically inclined with a strong willingness to learn
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

No previous fire sprinkler experience is required. We'll teach you everything you need to know.
