Commercial Cleaner — 1099 Independent Contractor ($20–$24/hr)


Superior Cleaning Industries LLC | Chicagoland Area


Position Type: Part-Time
Pay: $20–$24/hour

Superior Cleaning Industries is growing throughout the Chicagoland area, and we’re building a team of reliable, dependable cleaners as we continue bringing on new commercial accounts.

We’re looking for people who take pride in their work, show up consistently, and want the opportunity to grow with a growing commercial cleaning company.

Pay

$20–$24 per hour, based on experience, reliability, availability, and assignment.

There is room for increased pay and additional responsibilities as you prove yourself and grow with the company.


Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time position, with hours varying based on assigned commercial accounts and business needs.

✓ Must generally be available after 5:00 PM

✓ Monday–Sunday availability preferred

✓ Individual schedules and weekly hours vary depending on assigned accounts

✓ Greater availability may provide opportunities for additional locations and hours


What We’re Looking For

✓ Reliable and dependable — consistent attendance is extremely important

✓ Reliable transportation to assigned locations

✓ Detail-oriented and takes pride in quality work

✓ Able to follow cleaning specifications and complete assigned responsibilities

✓ Professional and respectful while working inside client facilities

✓ Comfortable working independently when required

✓ Commercial cleaning experience is a plus, but not required — we’re willing to train the right person


What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities will vary by account and may include:

✓ General commercial cleaning

✓ Restroom cleaning and sanitizing

✓ Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping

✓ Trash and recycling removal

✓ Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces

✓ Breakroom/common-area cleaning

✓ Following location-specific cleaning checklists and requirements

Independent Contractor Position

This opportunity is currently structured as a 1099 independent contractor position rather than a W-2 employee position.

Independent contractors are generally responsible for their own tax obligations. SCI does not withhold employee payroll taxes from contractor payments.

Final classification and assignment terms will depend on the nature of the working relationship and applicable law.
