What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, maintain, and improve plant electrical systems and components.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractors to support safe and efficient plant performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner to reduce downtime.
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff.

What Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated capability.
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, power distribution, instrumentation, switchgear, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Experience using engineering and project management tools such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze technical issues, establish priorities, and deliver practical solutions in an industrial environment.
  • Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across functions.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and operational reliability.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in both office and heavy manufacturing environments, including exposure to electrical equipment, motor control centers (MCCs), power distribution systems, and varying outdoor weather conditions.
  • Regular exposure to production areas may include moving equipment, elevated work areas, dust, noise, heat, cold, and other outdoor weather conditions.
  • Personal protective equipment must be worn as required.
  • The role may require climbing stairs and ladders, walking over uneven surfaces, and responding to occasional operational needs outside standard business hours.
  • Travel to other company locations, project sites, or vendor facilities may be required.
