O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT, seeks experienced Building Construction Superintendents to join our growing team. For more than 100 years, O&G has delivered some of Connecticut's most significant construction projects, including K-12 schools, higher education facilities, municipal buildings, healthcare campuses, and commercial developments.
As a recognized leader in educational construction, O&G partners with communities across the state to build and renovate schools that serve future generations. We are looking for field leaders who take pride in delivering high-quality work, maintaining safe jobsites, and driving projects to successful completion.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead and manage daily field operations on assigned construction projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment to maintain schedule and productivity
  • Ensure work meets quality standards, contract documents, and project specifications
  • Promote and enforce jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient job sites
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and project teams to achieve on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Implement Lean construction practices to improve efficiency and workflow

What We're Looking For:
  • 3�7 years of building construction experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contract documents, and field operations
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling, planning, and cost control
  • Ability to manage crews and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety (OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred)
