What you will do:

Under general direction, assists in performing basic services to support facility access control, coordination and communication of site activities including monitoring of building systems and cameras. Performs a variety of specialized operational functions in support of the customer business and organization.

How you will do it:

  • Control building access points and associated credentials.
  • Open doors and gates using the access control systems.
  • Check out keys for contractors and vendors using proper credential process.
  • Assist with customer and other departmental visitors and guests' access.
  • Document all access activity and arena events.
  • Manage the Stadium/Arena Control Command Center log.
  • Monitor entire camera system for internal and external site status.
  • Monitor and control complex computerized systems including Fire Detection/ Fire Suppression systems, Security / Access Control systems, Vertical transportation (Elevators and Escalators), Lighting systems, and Building Automation System (BAS) and HVAC systems.
  • Review and interpret customer departmental emails, calendars and checklists and properly manage systems and personnel to perform all associated event management functions.
  • Respond to and manage all system alarm conditions.
  • Turn lighting on and off through the lighting control systems.
  • Make temperature adjustments through the Building Automation System (BAS).
  • Interpret, respond to, and manage all activities and communications associated with emergency conditions and situations.
  • Interface with local law enforcement and fire department entities
  • Work closely and confidentially with customer security department as needed.
  • Complies with all company policies, procedures and adheres to company standards.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

  • Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be a team player committed to working in a diverse environment.
  • Requires ability to manage multiple functions at a time including cameras, telephones, two-way radios, and visitor/contractor access points.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or Technical School Certification.

PayRange: $20.00 - 22.16 hourly ratedeterminedby the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
