Job description

Advanced V&V Engineer, you'll be part of the Verification and Validation (V&V) organization, that performs and co-leads system V&V teams on Fire Alarm control panels and devices.  In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the product validation activities for NPI and O&M projects, including Automation and Manual testing.  You will support extending the internally developed test framework and utilizing the framework to perform tests.  The custom test framework involves robotics, computer vision, distributed computing and sensor simulation. Extending the hardware test fixture framework will also be required.  There will be opportunities to learn new technologies which is encouraged.

You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in (Computer Science, Electrical, or Mechanical) or 10 years of Fire industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in Test Engineering, Test Automation, or related experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience collaborating with development teams to create component and system test plans, Test framework, and code
  • Minimum 5 years strong testing and troubleshooting skills
