Job description

Momper Insulation is seeking a driven, construction-savvy Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will sell insulation and building-envelope solutions directly to builders, contractors, and construction professionals. If you thrive on jobsite interaction, understand how projects come together, and enjoy building long-term contractor relationships, this is a strong opportunity to grow your career and your earnings.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Jobsite assessments - Visit residential and commercial projects to evaluate insulation needs based on plans, specs, and field conditions.
  • Construction takeoffs - Read and interpret architectural drawings, mechanical plans, and project documents to prepare accurate material takeoffs and proposals.
  • Builder & contractor advising - Recommend insulation systems, code-compliant solutions, and building-envelope strategies that improve performance and efficiency.
  • Relationship development - Build and maintain strong partnerships with GCs, superintendents, project managers, and trade partners.
  • Business generation - Drive sales through contractor networks, jobsite visits, industry events, and ongoing field presence.
  • Project coordination - Work closely with installation crews to ensure scope accuracy, schedule alignment, and high-quality execution.
  • CRM & documentation - Maintain organized records, follow-ups, and project documentation to support pipeline growth.

Qualifications:
  • Construction background in building materials, estimating, field supervision, or trade sales.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans.
  • Experience working with builders, remodelers, or commercial contractors.
  • Knowledge of insulation, fireproofing, or building-envelope systems is a major plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Physical Demands:
This role requires regular travel to job sites and customer locations. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs or ladders, and occasionally lift 25-30 lbs of product samples. Work may occur indoors or outdoors in varying weather and site conditions. Adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity are required for reviewing plans and using mobile devices.
Benefits:
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Supplemental insurance options
  • Company profit sharing
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • IBP Foundation programs
  • Scholarship opportunities
  • Employee financial assistance program
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Opportunities for growth and advancement
  • Salary + commission compensation structure
