Job description

Axiom
Axiom Custom Products, Inc., is a fabrication shop serving the creative, events, retail, and construction industries. We build high-end, one-of-a-kind work using digital manufacturing, expert fabrication, and decades of hands-on experience.
We're looking for an experienced Builder/Installer who knows their way around tools, cares about quality, and enjoys figuring out how to make things work.
The Role
You'll install cabinets, millwork, casework, retail displays, fixtures, and other custom products. Some installs are local; others take you to cities like Seattle, LA, Denver, and NYC.
When you're not installing, you'll work in the shop fabricating, dry-fitting projects, and preparing upcoming installs.
The work is deadline-driven, so flexibility is important. Install schedules can occasionally mean long days, weekends, or overnight work.
You
You're an experienced craftsperson with a background in finish carpentry, cabinetry, millwork, or high-end installation. You take pride in your work, work well independently and with a team, and aren't afraid to solve problems when the plan changes.
Experience working with wood, solid surface, plastics, laminates, and metal is a plus.
More than anything, we're looking for someone who is reliable, ambitious, curious, quality-minded, with an unending desire to learn and grow.
What We Offer
  • $28 - $32/hour, depending on experience (more if you are senior level)
  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) + ROTH investment options
  • 10 days of PTO in year one & 20 days of PTO in year two and beyond, plus 6 paid holidays annually
  • Paid travel, lodging, airfare, transportation, and per diem
  • Mentorship, training, and opportunities to grow into bigger roles
  • Work on really cool projects

Why Axiom?
We're privately owned and have been building things since 1996. We're low-key, professional, collaborative, and serious about doing great work. There's no corporate bureaucracy, just a team of smart, hardworking people who help each other and aren't afraid to challenge the usual way of doing things.
If you like building things, traveling, solving problems, and working on projects that are anything but ordinary, we'd like to hear from you.

Interested? Send us a quick intro. It doesn't need to be formal-we just want to hear from you.
