Opportunity Builder
(Work Services Program Manager)
What if your job wasn't just about showing up to work-but helping someone else discover they can?
At Grand Traverse Industries (GTI), we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to earn a paycheck, learn new skills, and feel proud of what they accomplish.
Every day, our team helps adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build confidence, gain independence, and make meaningful contributions through work. Sometimes that means helping someone complete a production job with pride. Other times it means helping someone volunteer in the community, try something they've never experienced before, or accomplish a goal they once thought was impossible.
We're looking for an Opportunity Builder (Work Services Program Manager) who enjoys coaching others, staying organized, solving problems, and celebrating the small victories that lead to life-changing success.
This isn't just a job-it's an opportunity to help people build confidence, independence, friendships, and meaningful lives.
What You'll Do
As an Opportunity Builder, you'll do far more than manage a caseload.
You'll become an advocate, mentor, coach, cheerleader, and problem solver. You'll help individuals identify goals, develop new skills, celebrate accomplishments, and overcome obstacles while supporting them both at work and in the community.
Some days you'll be helping someone master a new job task. Other days you might be organizing a volunteer opportunity, taking a group on a community outing, helping someone build social connections, or watching a team member accomplish something they've dreamed about for years.
Every day looks a little different-and that's what makes it rewarding.
