Orthopedic Surgery Opening - Warsaw, NYLocated 1 hour from Buffalo and RochesterCommunity health center seeking BE/BC Orthopaedists to join its practice in Warsaw, NY.

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Health Center and Community Details:
  • Full-service, County-owned health system located in Warsaw, NY
  • 62-bed acute-care hospital with a 138 bed attached Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • The health system provides inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, acute, ambulatory, and inpatient behavioral health services.
  • It is the only hospital facility in the county and the only comparable facility within a 35-mile radius.
  • 25 employed physicians across ten clinics providing primary and specialist services.
  • In the last 10 years, Medical Group completed a $32M addition and renovation project that included a 12,000 square foot addition housing the Emergency Department, Lobby, Patient Registration, Laboratory Draw Stations, Waiting and Pre-Admission Testing Area in the front of the hospital.
  • Renovations of the maternity floor, skilled nursing facility, ambulatory surgery unit, and various support departments in the hospital were completed.
  • In the past several years, Medical Group has seen the addition of new providers and developed a quality, cooperative team that enjoys providing healthcare in a friendly, rural environment.
  • These providers include primary care, orthopedic, podiatry, cardiology, nephrology, OB-GYN, and general surgery.
  • Health Group has a collaborative relationship with Erie County Medical Center (ECMC), an advanced academic medical center with 573 inpatient beds, on-and off-campus health centers, more than 30 outpatient specialty care services and Terrace View, a 390-bed long-term care facility.
