Job Description

PURPOSE:
Plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like. Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Project Planning:

  • Develop detailed project plans including scope definition, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget estimations.

Team Leadership:

  • Assemble and lead a cross-functional team, assigning tasks, delegating responsibilities, and providing guidance to ensure optimal performance.

Progress Monitoring:

  • Track project progress against the plan, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedule and budget.

Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and develop mitigation strategies for potential project risks.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Regularly communicate project status updates to key stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members, addressing concerns and managing expectations.

Budget Management:

  • Monitor project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budget constraints and making necessary adjustments as needed.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.

Issue Resolution:

  • Identify and resolve project issues promptly, escalating when necessary to maintain project momentum.

Project Closure:

  • Complete project documentation, conduct post-project reviews, and gather lessons learned for future projects.

Salary:  $100K+ (D.O.E)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years Project Management Experience 
  • Experienced with entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for solution delivery
  • Project Management Office (PMO) experience a plus.
  • Experience with automotive industry a plus
  • Strong MS Project 2010 skills required
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Analytic, Documentation, and Organizational Skills
  • Efficient with multitasking between multiple projects
  • Data Analysis Skills (e.g., SQL data extraction, Exporting to MS Excel, data manipulation, Report Formatting, and analysis)
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft products including: MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint 2013
