Join ACE Rent-A-Car, a leading global rental agency with 300+ locations worldwide. Our MSP Airport location is proudly operated by the Walser Automotive Group, a Minnesota-based, family-owned company committed to excellence, efficiency, and outstanding customer care.
Compensation: 20.00 + Incentives
What You'll Do:
  • Perform all duties of the Rental Agents, Management Trainee and Management Assistant regarding customer service
  • Evaluate employee performance for customer service and sales issues and provide employee supervision and direction through hands on training and coaching
  • Provide input to the Branch Manager for employee performance reviews and maintain reports on performance and documentation of employee events
  • Handle employee scheduling and cover necessary shortage
  • Handle customer complaints to conclusion and satisfaction of the customer and company
  • Follow up on overdue rentals
  • Look for and repair or report any unsafe working conditions
  • Evaluate office appearance daily from "curb to counter" and implement necessary cleaning or repairs
  • All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

What You Bring:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Associate's degree required or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent customer service - friendly, attentive and responsive
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Team player attitude is a must
  • Strong interpersonal and telephone skills to work effectively with co-workers and external agencies
  • Good mathematical skills including ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
  • Physical ability including walking, climbing; stooping; standing; kneeling; sitting; reaching; lifting/carrying at least 50 pounds frequently and at least 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to learn new software programs
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, and weekend hours
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
