Job Summary

The temporary full-time Customer Service Agent is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and maintaining the appearance of rental vehicles to ensure they meet company standards and provide an excellent customer experience. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently in various weather conditions. This is a seasonal position, expected to work full-time from March 2026 – October 2026, with the potential to become full-time based on performance and business demands.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Vehicle Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Adequately wash, dry, and clean exterior of vehicles using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions in a timely manner
  • Thoroughly vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including seats, floors, dashboards, and door panels
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and windshields inside and out
  • Wipe down and treat interior surfaces with appropriate cleaning products
  • Remove trash and debris from vehicles
  • Check for and report any damage, stains, or mechanical issues to supervisor
  • Apply tire shine, polish, and other finishing products as needed
  • Clean vehicle engine compartments when required
  • Refill vehicle gas tanks in a safe manner using gas pumps

Quality Control:

  • Inspect vehicles to ensure they meet company cleanliness standards
  • Ensure all personal items left by customers are turned in to management
  • Report any vehicle damage or maintenance needs immediately
  • Follow company checklists and quality standards for each vehicle type
  • Accurately and consistently log records of serviced vehicles for tracking

Equipment and Facility Maintenance:

  • Operate and maintain car wash equipment and gas pumps safely and properly
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards
  • Monitor and maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products and materials
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisor
  • Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals

Vehicle Movement:

  • Move vehicles to and from washing areas, parking lots, and service bays
  • Park vehicles in designated areas according to company procedures
  • Ensure vehicles are locked and secured after cleaning

Other Duties:

  • Properly report and document lost and found items from customers, supporting our company core values of always providing the best service and building trust through accountability
  • Maintain an organized workplace by parking vehicles correctly, keep cleaning items and tools orderly, communicate and collaborate with other team members effectively and promptly
  • Maintain adherence to company service protocols, confidentiality guidelines, safety procedures, and quality expectations
  • Participate in ongoing training, performance reviews, and team meetings
  • Maintains compliance with company policies and procedures, local regulations, and recommended best practices
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Basic understanding of vehicle care and operations
  • Ability to work with basic technology devices, such as a scanning system
  • Works with a sense of urgency and prioritization to deliver on customer expectations
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, English and/or Spanish
  • Carry a professional and positive attitude to support our team work environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as needed and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Reliable transportation to work and attendance based on work schedule and business demands
  • May be required to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours per day)
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching to enter and exit vehicles, and clean inside and out of vehicles
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements
  • Ability to work in confined spaces (inside vehicles)
  • Visual acuity to inspect vehicles for cleanliness and damage
  • Work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind)
  • Exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, and vehicle exhaust
  • Noisy environment from equipment and traffic
  • Fast-paced work environment with production goals
  • Exposure to wet and slippery surfaces
  • Ability to move quickly and safely around active vehicle traffic areas while maintaining awareness of surroundings
  • Must be able to communicate verbally in person and via radio, phone with clear articulation and attentive listening

Work Schedule

Able to work full-time 4 days, 10 hour shift, 7:00am – 5:30pm, on-site at our various work locations in Las Vegas, NV.
