Job Summary

 Grande Juda is seeking a highly collaborative BT Network Engineer who brings a strong on-floor presence and partners closely with Operations and other business units across the Enterprise to keep the business running seamlessly. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining the organization’s LAN/WAN, data center, wireless, and telecom infrastructure, as well as cloud connectivity (e.g., Azure and SaaS platforms). Success in this position comes from being visible, hands-on, and responsive, building trusted relationships with stakeholders across the Enterprise to quickly diagnose issues, optimize performance, and ensure reliable, secure network services.

Beyond day-to-day support, the BT Network Engineer plays a key role in driving infrastructure projects, managing vendors, and strengthening Enterprise security and network resilience. You will lead initiatives such as disaster recovery readiness, SD-WAN performance, and system enhancements while adhering to BT service management processes. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and values direct engagement with the business to deliver impactful, high-quality BT solutions.  This role supports multiple plant locations, with up to one day per week spent traveling between facilities and the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM  - 4:30 PM (Hybrid 3 days on site, 2 days remote).

What you need to be considered for the role:

  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other computer related field is preferred.
  • Six (6) or more years of experience working in IT department for a mid to large size company
    required.
  • Previous experience in 24X7 support environment, ticket management and problem resolution
    required.
  • Working knowledge of the following systems or protocols:
    • Hardware: servers, network switches, routers, firewall, hyper-converged infrastructure
    • Software: Windows Server, O365, enterprise backup software, Network protocols and services, RADIUS, LDAP, PKI, Certificates, and secure remote access solutions
    • iBGP, eBGP, ISIS
    • Cloud-Based Infrastructure and Applications: Azure, LCS, D365, O365, SaaS Applications
    • Strong troubleshooting skills, problem-solving, issue resolution, and hardware performance analysis
    • Self-starter accustomed to working with limited supervision

Preferred:

  • Preferred experience with the following:
    • Firewall, Routers, layer two and three switches, SSL VPN technologies desired
    • Enterprise monitoring, support, and response work experience.
    • Enterprise networking to connect edge network security to cloud-based infrastructure. (Azure, AWS, GCS)
    • Creating comprehensive technical documentation using Visio or other tools
  • Industry certifications in IT-related disciplines (i.e. CISSP, ECS, MCSE, CCNA, ITIL) preferred.
