Behavior Technician (BT) – Oceanside, CA (2026–2027 School Year)
Amergis Educational Staffing

Amergis Educational Staffing is currently hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) to support students with special needs in school settings throughout Oceanside, CA. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students achieve their educational and behavioral goals.

Position Details
  • Position: Behavior Technician (BT)
  • Location: Oceanside, CA
  • Start Date: August 11, 2026
  • Pay Rate: $25/hour 
Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral and educational support to students with special needs
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the direction of school staff and specialists
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
  • Assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting positive learning environments
  • Track and document student progress as needed
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience (preferred)
  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)
  • TB screening/health clearance as required
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
