Systems Engineers – Colorado Springs

Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $150,000

Qualified candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a valid passport who old an active security clearance at the Secret level.

In-Depth Engineering is seeking multiple Systems Engineers to support our work on the CommandIQ program. These roles are full-time onsite positions at our customer site in Colorado Springs.

Essential Duties:

  • Support Technical Interchange Meetings
  • Support Agile Release Train Scrums and Planning Sessions
  • Decompose customer/stakeholder needs into higher-level roadmap features into actionable work items
  • Document system requirements
  • Create and refine MBSE models depicting system architecture and system functionality
  • Perform peer reviews for fellow systems engineers and to review SE artifacts
  • Participate in technical discussions to refine system requirements and decompose use cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers to better understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen with a valid passport
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other STEM degre
  • 2+ Years of professional experience
  • Experience in MBSE tools (Cameo, Rhapsody)
  • Experience with Requirements Definition and Documentation (DOORS, Jama)
  • Familiarity with Verification/Validation Activities
  • Experience with Use Case and Conops definition
  • Experience with generating integration and test plans as well as test scenarios
  • Experience documenting test results and driving necessary corrective actions
  • Experience creating and decomposing system behavioral diagrams (Activity, Sequence, State Machine) along with system architecture diagrams (block definition, internal block definition, package)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Agile Methodologies & Tools
  • Experience defining data models
  • Experience presenting MBSE diagrams to technical peers for review and/or implementation
  • Experience with Agentic AI
