ST | 0 Hrs. Seeking Biologist candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE.  This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (Biologist) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS - Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Mid West Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Biologist | Environmental Management [USACE019024]

Conduct biological surveys; analyze data; assess environmental impacts on ecosystems.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Biologist | Environmental Management [USACE019024] (USACE019024) Candidates:

Knowledge of biology and ecology; experience in environmental impact assessments.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

5+ years in biology or ecology; experience in environmental projects. | Bachelor's in Biology or Environmental Science.

Skills Required

Skills Required: Data analysis, fieldwork, report writing, ecological assessment. | Professional Licensure: None; pursuing certification in Biology (e.g., Certified Wildlife Biologist) is beneficial.

Competencies Required

Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program).  Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

Permits/Licenses:  Team ProSidian shall obtain permits and licenses necessary to conduct the work required by this contract, including, but not limited to, environmental permits, building permits, discharge permits, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or state licenses for radiation activities, and Department of Transportation (DOT) permits for transport of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) on public highways. Team ProSidian shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, including Technical Bulletin TB 700-2, "Department Of Defense Ammunition And Explosives Hazard Classification Procedures," when transporting MEC.  Rights of entry on and off Government property may be required.
