What Youโll Be Doing
As ourย Leasing Consultant, you'll be the welcoming face of the communityโresponsible for creating exceptional experiences for prospective and current residents while supporting the overall success of the property. Key responsibilities include:
โข Greeting and engaging prospective residents, current residents, and guests in person, by phone, and through electronic communication
โข Conducting community tours and showcasing apartment homes and amenities
โข Assisting prospective residents throughout the leasing process, from initial inquiry through move-in
โข Processing rental applications, lease renewals, and related documentation accurately and efficiently
โข Responding to resident questions, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner
โข Supporting resident retention efforts through outstanding customer service and community engagement
โข Maintaining organized and accurate resident files, records, and leasing documentation
โข Inspecting community appearance and coordinating with maintenance staff to ensure high standards are maintained
โข Assisting with marketing initiatives and outreach efforts to support occupancy goals
โข Ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, company policies, and applicable laws
โข Promoting a positive, welcoming, and inclusive community environment
โข Performing other duties as assigned
Who You Are
Weโre looking for someone who brings energy, leadership, and a passion for people. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in leasingย or a related field preferred.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport, overcome objections, and effectively close leases.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with Yardi, ResMan, On-Site, or other property management software preferred.
- Basic math and financial comprehension skills.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation required.
