CNA Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities.

Duties Include:
  • Provide high-quality resident care in accordance with individualized care plans

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

  • Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff

  • Perform resident rounds and provide timely assistance throughout the shift

  • Ensure resident comfort, dignity, safety, and well-being

  • Verify resident identification before providing care or meal assistance

  • Make beds and maintain clean, organized resident rooms

  • Clean and refill water pitchers and ensure they remain within residents' reach

  • Assist with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning residents

  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare team members

  • Follow all facility policies, infection control procedures, safety standards, and state and federal regulations

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
