Insight Chicago Hospital and Medical Center is seeking Full and Part time Emergency Medicine Faculty Physicians to join our ED team. We are starting a new Emergency Medicine Residency Program in the heart of urban Chicago, and looking for people dedicated to Emergency Medicine and Resident Education. The department of EM is looking for Clinician Educators, with Faculty appointments available for eligible candidates. We seek candidates who are looking to develop as an academic leader in Emergency Medicine. Faculty will have access to grant funding, research associates and GME involvement. Candidates must be ABEM-certified or board-eligible. Insight Chicago is a growing institution serving the Bronzeville area in the heart of Chicago, Illinois. Formerly known as Mercy Hospital at 2525 S. Michigan Ave, this location is historic and of utmost importance in the care and wellbeing of Chicago’s population. These duties are to be performed in a highly confidential manner, following the mission, values, and behaviors of Insight Hospital and Medical Center. Employees are further expected to provide a high quality of care, service, and kindness toward all patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and guests.
Qualifications amp; Requirements
  • Residency completed in Emergency Medicine.
  • ABEM certified (or Board Eligible within 3 years of residency completion).
  • Active Illinois state license required.
  • ACLS required for all providers.
  • Covid-19.Vaccination.
  • Experience with teaching and academics.

  • Engage in scholarly activity, dedicated research department for support.
