Job description

The Mohr Partners Dallas Team is looking to add a junior associate to bolster our already successful team. Our accomplished team consists of two Partners with over 70 years of experience representing national industrial and office tenants across their portfolios. Mohr Partners strictly represents Tenants thus providing a conflict-free perspective to our clients which is truly unique in the commercial real estate brokerage industry.
We look forward to bringing onboard a “go-getter” that will work with our team members to source and win new business on both local and national levels as well as provide assistance on existing clients.
Broker Responsibilities
  • Secures new and expanding business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling Mohr Corporate services to current client base
  • Learn the Mohr Partners model and perfect your sales pitch for cold calls and emails
  • Create lead list of prospective clients to call on utilizing multiple databases
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date information in company databases
  • Provides tenants with pertinent information on leasing availability, current market conditions, and property values
  • Compiles property data for clients, such as tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, and status updates
  • Analyzes data and prepares real estate reports on average asking rents, tenants in the market, historical data, and market comparisons
  • Gathers and organizes materials necessary for transactions such as commission agreements, leases, and sales agreements
  • Participates and shadows senior brokers in contract negotiations and due diligence
Broker Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
  • Minimum 2+ years of work experience required
  • Real Estate Salesperson license preferred – will need license to be hired
  • Freight Brokerage / Sales Experience preferred
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Capacity to effectively present information and confidence to speak in front of groups
  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles
Physical Requirements
  • Involves work of a general office nature
  • Typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day and may involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
  • Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
  • Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays
