We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at K&A Power Group in Cary, NC. Role Expectations:

  • K&A Services LLC (Cary, NC) seeks Distribution Senior Engineer to perform distribution planning and design services for medium voltage (1kV to 35kV) overhead and underground power distribution systems. Perform scope analysis of work assignments and maintain schedule adherence to align with client priorities. Review and/or prepare engineering-quality drawings suitable for construction. Provide technical oversight to solve complex problems with minimal supervision. Review quality and accuracy of field notes and designs and work with stakeholders to resolve issues identified. Assist with pole loading analysis calculations and equipment sizing for residential and commercial projects. Requires occasional travel to various worksites around U.S. to perform site visits to inspect, measure and verify designs.

    Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field and three (3) years of electrical engineering experience in distribution design and quality control, and experience utilizing technical software such as Maximo, BOUD, SEDS, and PoleForeman.

Pay Range $135,000
