About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Gfx Visual Designer to build, stress-test, and evolve the graphic systems that power our global live event storytelling. This role is for the "part-time daydreamer" who can imagine the future of live displays while maintaining the disciplined craft required to execute elite, air-ready broadcasts. You are someone who knows the rules of the system so well you can break them to make the normal seem extraordinary, ensuring our design DNA is threaded through every frame. As a key contributor to the ECXD Live creative team, you will be responsible for custom design work that tells singular stories and scales across enormous global productions. You will oversee the execution of high-end graphic packages—from intricate inserts to platform-wide expansions—ensuring every element is polished to perfection. You’ll carry yourself with a selflessness that makes the work experience better for our partners in Content and Production as we define a second-to-none experience for fans worldwide.


What You’ll Do

  • Design and stress-test cohesive, scalable graphic systems that work across diverse live event genres, from global soccer to comedy specials.
  • Thread "Brand DNA" through every creative execution, ensuring a unified visual language across all platforms and consumer touchpoints.
  • Execute high-end custom design work that tells singular, impactful stories for our biggest live event priorities.
  • Audit live executions in real-time to recaps how work was used and identify areas that need a higher level of polish.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to navigate tradeoffs and deliver industry defining work under high-pressure live deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities:

Team Logo Creation and Development

  • Designs and iterates on team marks/logos where needed
  • Applies and adapts logos across multiple usage contexts
  • Asset sheet creation and logo sheets


Team Front-End Design and Animation

  • Designs and animates team-level toolkits (e.g., intros, transitions, motion graphics)
  • Translates static brand elements into motion for various formats


Sales Toolkits

  • Creates sales-enablement materials (decks, one-pagers, templates)
  • Ensures assets are visually aligned with NFL campaign design system


The Must Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in a studio or media environment, with a portfolio showcasing industry-leading live graphics.
  • Expert-level craft in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects for system building and finishing work.
  • Proven track record of creating and scaling design systems adopted across multiple teams.
  • Strong creative judgment with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates an ability to blend elite aesthetic polish with functional, data-heavy graphic hierarchies.


Even Better

  • Experience designing for global streaming platforms and understanding cross platform viewing contexts.
  • Experience in 3D applications and an ability to navigate different render engines.
  • A background in high-profile sports or entertainment rebrands that required regional and cultural sensitivity.
  • Familiarity with Figma for collaborative design and system documentation.
