The ideal candidate brings both operational precision and creative fluency, managing the complete lifecycle of live events - from concept and planning to live execution, post-event content operations, and performance reporting. You'll partner with key stakeholders, including Fox, external vendors, and a range of internal teams (like Content and Creative Operations, Marketing, Engineering, and Content) to ensure that live events are technically sound, creatively compelling in their marketing, and operationally seamless.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Los Angeles office. You must be willing to travel to our Los Angeles office three days/week.

This is a temporary position for an estimated 6-month duration.

What You'll Do:

Program & Project Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and management of live event programming and serve as the operational counterpart to the Tech PMO who will manage tech workstreams.
  • Develop integrated project timelines that align production, technical operations, content and creative campaign deliverables, PR/marketing moments and partner activations.
  • Brief teams into project timelines and lead pre-production, technical, and creative sync meetings
  • Manage budgets, schedules, deliverables, and stakeholder communications across XFN teams
  • Facilitate alignment between creative, engineering, marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure consistent execution.
  • Actively troubleshoot blockers for the team and escalate quickly as needed.
  • Act as the central point of contact during live event cycles, from early creative planning to live control room coordination and post-event wrap.
  • Ensure executives and leadership are updated with concise project summaries and real-time event reports.

Live Event & Content Operations

  • Oversee content operations workflows for live broadcasts, including rehearsals, ingest, encoding, metadata management, and live-to-VOD delivery. (Note: Tech PMO will own live rehearsals/QA/runbooks holistically across XFN teams).
  • For events not produced by FOX, work with the third party production company to onboard the technical director and be the main contact between the technical director and Tubi/FOX.
  • Partner closely with engineering and product teams to design, test, and optimize end-to-end live streaming workflows, from signal contribution to viewer playback.
  • Oversee live feed acquisition and signal integration; coordinate with broadcast partners (e.g., Fox Sports) and engineering teams to secure, route, and deliver the live broadcast feed to the streaming platform.
  • Partner with technical operations to design and execute end-to-end signal paths, ensuring broadcast-quality reliability, synchronization, and redundancy for all live streams.
  • Ensure all live event content meets quality, compliance, captioning, and ad-insertion requirements.
  • Manage communication and execution between control rooms, network operations centers, and digital platform teams during live events.
  • Troubleshoot live stream and content delivery issues in collaboration with NOC, video platform, operations, and QA teams.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including signal flow diagrams, event readiness checklists, and operational SOPs.
  • Support the onboarding and testing of new live workflows, formats, and interactive features in collaboration with product and engineering partners.

Creative & Marketing Campaign Management

  • Serve as a strategic partner and right hand to creative and marketing leads, coordinating assets and information across internal creative, product, and marketing, keeping all workstreams moving forward.
  • Own production from brief through delivery across video, digital, promos, key art, trailers, graphics packages, OOH, and social across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure brand, legal, partner, and platform compliance across all deliverable specs.
  • Oversee cross-functional creative reviews, approvals, and asset delivery workflows related to the project
  • Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to ensure consistent messaging across all external touchpoints, as well as identify and proactively flag risks and develop contingency plans.

B2B & Partner Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Sales, Biz Dev, and Brand Partnerships to fulfill sponsorship deliverables.
  • Flag unsold opportunities for internal use either by Tubi or FOX BUs, anticipating the assets/timing required.
  • **Note this responsibility would extend beyond live events and support the coordination of content sponsorships across internal teams and production of Tubi Original or Creator content as well.

Cross-Functional Communication & Leadership

  • Act as the connective tissue between creative, marketing, communications, engineering, product, operations, and executive teams.
  • Translate technical workflows into clear, actionable plans for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead pre-production, technical, and creative sync meetings; communicate risks and solutions proactively.
  • Ensure executives and leadership are updated with concise project summaries and real-time event reports.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence across all functions.

Your Background:

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills for internal and partner communications.
  • Adept at translating between technical and creative languages to align engineering with storytelling goals.
  • Solutions-first mindset. Creative problem-solving under pressure. Someone who errands trust from both creative and technical teams by being organized, honest, and calm in chaos.
