  • Provide assistance with specimen acquisition and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all processes, aid in the training of new staff or students, and actively contribute to upholding laboratory quality standards.
  • Ensure a tidy and safe working environment while adhering to relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Education Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a similar allied health degree, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
Certification Requirements
  • ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be acquired within the first year of employment.
  • Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
