Pay Range: $23.00- $29.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time TODDLER TEACHER

What will you be doing?

At Learn And Play School our teachers bring warmth, patience, and understanding to the classroom every day. We focus on encouraging children to learn, play, and grow. Our individualized, STEM-Integrated curriculum nurtures social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development, helping children grow into curious and confident lifelong learners. Our teachers are committed to making their school successful and know that creating meaningful relationships with children, families, and their team plays a crucial role in that success. Responsibilities include: 

  • Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play
  • Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
  • Support your success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, growth and engagement
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
  • Implement Learn and Play Preschool’s play-based and STEM-focused curriculum, tailored to support the individual growth and learning journey of every child

Requirements:

  • 12 core ECE Units & Infant/toddler course completed
  • Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential
  • Willingness to change diapers
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized
  • Ability to work within regular operating hours
  • Must meet state criteria for child care employment
