What Will You Be Doing?

As a Center Director, you will be responsible for leading and growing a successful early childhood education center. Your responsibilities will include:

·       Take “ownership” of the school, doing whatever it takes to deliver on the financial metrics while never compromising on child safety, excellent programming and employee appreciation

·       Drive enrollment growth by engaging with the community, conducting excellent tours, and building relationships with prospective families

·       In partnership with Marketing, implement marketing and outreach strategies to ensure strong enrollment and brand awareness

·       Recruit, hire, and train a team of educators to establish a high-quality learning environment while keeping children safe

·       Develop an online presence to keep families engaged and informed leading up to and beyond the center’s opening

·       Develop strong family partnerships, foster open communication, and ensure a welcoming and nurturing environment for children

·       Manage daily operations to ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and health and safety standards

·       Lead staff development through mentorship, training programs, and performance evaluations

·       Produce desired outcomes of KPI’s enrollment, labour management, employee engagement, and health and safety

·       Oversee the administrative functions, such as scheduling, payroll, billing, and overall center budgeting

Requirements:

·       A creative and driven spirit, and a commitment to doing whatever it takes for the success of your school

·       Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field

·       3+ years of leadership experience in a licensed child care facility

·       Experience in opening and launching new child care centers

·       Proven ability to hire, train, and develop a team

·       Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills

·       Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative tools

·       Knowledge of state childcare regulations and licensing requirements
