Bright Star Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at our onsite Rehabilitation Facility located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. You will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Fredericksburg, a location designed to foster collaboration and efficient patient care. This full-time role typically requires a standard weekday schedule from Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient support.

As a Physical Therapist at Bright Star, your responsibilities will include:

• Directing and implementing physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and enhancing muscle function.
• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure effective delivery of care plans specific to each client’s needs.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of clients’ functional capabilities through diagnostic assessments and clinical tests.
• Assessing patients' home environments to recommend modifications that enhance their independence and ease of rehabilitation.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as traction and massage to facilitate healing.
• Fitting and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices in conjunction with treatment plans.
• Participating in the development and ongoing review of individualized care plans while documenting progress effectively.
• Regularly observing, recording, and reporting changes in patient conditions, suggesting adjustments to treatment strategies, and collaborating with physicians and case managers.
• Instructing families on care techniques and ensuring they understand the methods applied in their loved ones’ rehabilitation.
• Participating in case conferences as part of a multidisciplinary team to create cohesive treatment plans that address the totality of patient care.

You will work with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, each requiring tailored interventions that promote physical recovery and emotional well-being. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver’s license with automobile insurance.
• A commitment to clinical excellence and a passion for patient-centered care.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to make independent decisions while working within a collaborative team environment.

Candidates with at least two years of experience in both acute care and home health settings are preferred. We value individuals who have successfully implemented innovative treatment strategies and have demonstrated a track record of improving patient outcomes.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
