  • Deliver therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
  • Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various techniques to help patients process their trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and build a strong sense of self.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and emotional support for affected individuals.

The clientele at Bright Minds primarily consists of individuals experiencing trauma-related disorders, including PTSD and complex trauma conditions. As part of your role, you will engage with a diverse range of patients, including children, adolescents, and adults, each with unique therapeutic needs. Your contributions will directly support their healing journeys and empower them to reclaim their lives.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in trauma-informed practices and evidenced-based treatment modalities related to trauma recovery.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic and non-judgmental demeanor.
  • Capacity to remain calm and collected in high-stress situations which may arise in a therapeutic environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.
Preferred Experience

Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies is highly valued. Candidates who have previously worked in outpatient settings focusing on trauma recovery will be prioritized. Additionally, any ongoing education or specialized training in trauma therapy or counseling methodologies will distinguish your application.
