Job Description

Courtesy Ford Breaux Bridge is seeking a skilled Ford Certified Service Technician to join our busy service team. This is an elite role for an experienced professional who already holds active Ford factory credentials and wants to maximize their earning potential in a high-volume shop.

Pay: 

  • $25 - $40 per flat rate hour

  • Pay is determined by experience and credentials

  • Confidentiality: All inquiries and applications from currently employed technicians will be kept strictly confidential.

Work Requirements

  • Certifications: Current Ford factory training credentials are required.

  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

  • Tools: Ownership of a comprehensive set of professional automotive tools.

  • Ability to commute to Breaux Bridge, LA.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repair and maintenance work as outlined on repair orders with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Test-drive vehicles and diagnose concerns using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, and driveline; steering and suspension; electrical systems; brakes and HVAC.

  • Communicate clearly with the Service Advisor regarding additional repair needs and timelines.

  • Perform warranty repairs in accordance with strict manufacturer procedures.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional experience as a technician in a Ford dealership environment.

  • Deep knowledge of Ford vehicle systems, wiring schematics, and diagnostic logic (IDS/FDRS).

  • Strong work ethic, personal integrity, and a team-first attitude.

  • ASE certifications are highly valued alongside your Ford credentials.
