Job description

As the Head of Corporate Systems & Business Platforms, you will be the foundational architect of Ford Energy's digital backbone. You will lead the strategy, selection, and scaling of the integrated platforms that power our core business. This is a leadership role where you will transform corporate functions into a high-velocity Product Organization, ensuring our internal systems are as innovative and reliable as the energy storage systems we ship.

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Leadership: 10+ years of IT experience, with 7+ years in software engineering and at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (Director or Head-of level).
  • ERP Expertise: Proven track record of leading large-scale SAP implementations within a manufacturing or complex logistics environment.
  • Cloud Native: Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and modern SaaS integration patterns.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical execution and executive-level business strategy.
  • Visionary strategic thinker able to navigate rapidly evolving global energy storage markets.
  • The "Startup" Mindset: Experience building teams and systems from scratch within a larger corporate parent.
  • Product Expertise: Deep knowledge of the "Product-over-Project" mindset in an enterprise context.
  • Operational Rigor: Experience managing high-availability applications in a 24/7 production/manufacturing environment.
  • Cybersecurity: Familiarity with NIST frameworks or similar cybersecurity best practices for energy or infrastructure sectors.
    Leadership Attributes

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home?
