Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will report to Field Operations and be deployed as Foreman on projects. Because the individual will not leave the Union when in-between projects he or she will work on a project as a laborer assisting other trades people including carpenters, bricklayers, and drywall and cement finishers.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:  

The ideal candidate will have current knowledge of commercial construction practices. Additionally, he or she would possess an understanding of procedures, techniques, tools, equipment, materials, specifications, quality and cost control, and safety requirements associated with commercial construction.

While operating in a Supervisory role, the roles and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Adhere to and enforce Pepper Safety regulations, lead daily THA with crews, and perform regular jobsite safety audits.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing daily laborer related activities and equipment to support the project team and project schedule.  
  • While managing a crew they will need to understand the project cost-to-date and corresponding manpower plan. Help assist project team with forecasting laborer related activities on projects they are assigned.
  • Direct, monitor and manage tradesmen production when managing a crew.
  • Completion of all necessary Field documentation
  • Complete time sheets electronically in payroll system for trade crew personnel.

Minimum 5 years prior experience as a Trade Laborer Foreman required
