Job description

A national full-service business law firm with 200 attorneys and locations across the United States is seeking a Controller for one of their Florida offices (Fort Lauderdale, Cypress Creek, Orlando, Brickell, and Boca Raton).
The Controller is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s financial operations, including coordination of law firm tax and accounting issues, the annual audit process, month end close, and day-to-day banking activity including account sweeps and compliance in the Accounting Department and across the Firm. The Controller reports to the Director of Accounting and does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in an equivalent role at an equivalent sized company.
  • Law firm or professional services experience is preferred but not required.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
