Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Nurse Practitioner, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, reviewing medical histories, and performing thorough physical examinations to inform treatment plans.
• Managing chronic health conditions, diagnosing illnesses and medical conditions, and implementing personalized care strategies.
• Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests to monitor patient health, making informed decisions based on test results.
• Prescribing medications as necessary, and carefully monitoring patient responses to ensure efficacy and safety.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare practitioners to ensure cohesive and coordinated patient care.
• Providing education to patients and their caregivers on managing chronic conditions, emphasizing coping strategies, and promoting health literacy.
• Building supportive relationships with patients, their family members, and facility staff, ensuring a holistic approach to healthcare delivery.
• Encouraging and advocating healthy lifestyle choices among residents to improve their overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The residents you will serve in our assisted living facility often face age-related health challenges, chronic illnesses, and varied medical needs. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
• A valid and active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida.
• Board certification in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or another relevant specialty.
• An active and unrestricted DEA registration with prescriptive authority.
• Strong diagnostic skills and a comprehensive understanding of clinical best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, fostering a collaborative work environment and rapport with patients.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants with a variety of backgrounds, candidates with at least two years of experience in outpatient or primary care settings will be given preference. Familiarity with chronic disease management and geriatric healthcare will enhance your ability to serve our patient population effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
