Job Title: Veterinary Assistant

Schedule: Full-Time | 3–4 days per week | 10–12 hour shifts

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: $16–$17 per hour


Veterinary Assistant Position Summary

The Veterinary Assistant is a key member of the veterinary healthcare team, supporting veterinarians and veterinary technicians in delivering high-quality care to animals. This role involves a combination of hands-on animal care, clinical support, and administrative responsibilities to ensure the clinic operates efficiently and patients receive exceptional care.



Veterinary Assistant Key Responsibilities

Animal Care & Handling

  • Assist with safely restraining and handling animals during exams and procedures
  • Ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of all patients

Laboratory Support

  • Prepare and process lab samples (blood, urine, fecal) as directed
  • Accurately document and maintain lab results

Medical Equipment & Treatment Support

  • Clean, sterilize, and maintain equipment and exam rooms
  • Assist with medical procedures and treatment setup

Patient Monitoring

  • Observe patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Report any changes in condition or concerns promptly

Animal Husbandry
