Job description

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF), a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Radiologist to join their well-established team in Pensacola, Florida. This full-time position offers flexible scheduling options and focuses on a full spectrum of breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast MRI, and interventional breast procedures. The successful candidate will primarily support Sacred Heart Hospital, a leading 560+ bed institution and Level 1 trauma center.

  • Primarily supports Sacred Heart Hospital, a 560+ bed institution and the flagship of Ascension in Florida's Panhandle.
  • Sacred Heart Hospital is a Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center.
  • The practice is locally and democratically led.
  • Opportunities to join the faculty of Florida State University to provide diagnostic and interventional radiology instruction to medical students.
  • Teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa, with opportunities for adjunct faculty positions.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on a full spectrum of breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast MRI, and interventional breast procedures.
  • Serve as Lead Interpreting Breast Radiologist (Option 4), with leadership responsibilities and dedicated support from the Medical Director and local practice leadership.
  • Provide diagnostic and interventional radiology instruction to medical students as faculty of Florida State University.
  • Provide pediatric radiology electives to pediatric residents from University of Florida.

  • $50k Commencement Bonus!

  • The salary range for this position is $500,000-$1,000,000.

  • Option 2: Monday-Friday schedule with hybrid model, Mix of on-site and remote reading days, 100% Breast Radiology, No nights, weekends, holidays, or call
  • Option 3: Monday-Friday schedule with hybrid model, Mix of on-site and remote reading days, ~80% Breast / 20% General Radiology, Q7 remote weekend call
  • Flexible scheduling options tailored to leadership and clinical goals (Option 4)

Requirements

  • MD or DO with completion of Diagnostic Radiology residency
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging
  • Board-certified or board-eligible (ABR or AOBR)
  • MQSA required
  • Eligible for Florida medical licensure
