This is a full-time position with shared call and inpatient coverage. We’re looking for a passionate Physician to work in a team centered, collaborative environment. Join a collaborative, patient-centered team providing comprehensive breast care in Northern Michigan. We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Breast Surgeon to become an integral part of our multidisciplinary program.Position Highlights* Full-time role with a mix of: * Outpatient clinic * Rare hospital rounding * Procedure time * Participation in interdisciplinary breast conference and collaborative care planning* On-call responsibility limited to after-hours practice on a rotating schedule* Open to both experienced candidates and those completing fellowship trainingResponsibilities* Evaluate, diagnose, and provide surgical care for patients with breast diseases* Perform and interpret diagnostic studies and imaging in collaboration with radiology and pathology teams* Educate patients and families about treatment options, preventive care, and long-term follow-up* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, breast program conferences, and quality meetings* Perform biopsies and minor procedures in the clinic setting
