Job description

A prominent healthcare facility in New Jersey is currently seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to join its expanding team. This full-time position is based in a hospital setting and requires a professional with a strong background in breast imaging and related procedures.
About the Opportunity:
  • Shift: Day
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 4pm or 8:30am to 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
  • Conducting breast imaging and biopsies, including stereotactic, MRI, and ultrasound procedures
  • Performing iodine seed localizations
  • Implementing and interpreting tomosynthesis (3-D imaging)
  • Utilizing AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive breast care services
Qualifications:
  • MD/DO with fellowship in Breast Imaging
  • Board Eligible / Certified in Radiology from an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency
  • Proficiency with Breast Imaging techniques
  • Competence in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology procedures
  • Familiarity with PACS and voice recognition systems
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Desired Skills:
  • Advanced tomosynthesis skills
