Job description

Quality Inspector I (7:00 am-7:00pm) $19.75/hr.

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector I to be based out of Thomasville, GA. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this person will be responsible for performing quality checks on finished goods, running required tests on sample product, and conducting in process audits to ensure processes and products are in compliance with standards.

What you’ll do:

Quality Inspector I's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform regular audits in-process audits to ensure processes and products are in compliance with standards
  • Run required tests such as dimensional, impact, burst, crush, and any other pertinent or requested test
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated and daily plausibility tests are done and recorded
  • Keep a record of analysis, tests audit results, and any other Quality Documents
  • Support Production troubleshooting quality related problems on the lines
  • Manage sample requests/returns (field returns)
  • Support Material trials
  • Gather and organize testing metrics
  • Coordinate and perform QA activities for release cycles
  • Ensure proper maintenance of QA test environments
  • Perform incoming inspections

What you’ll bring:

  • 1-2 Years of previous experience in Quality Assurance required
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Within 3 months, you’ll:

  • Lead troubleshooting sessions with the Production Team and generate reports for Quality auditing
  • Perform application testing in accordance with functional requirements
  • Manage and maintain test plans and test cases to achieve objectives

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $19.75/hr. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
