Role Summary
The Prep Person is responsible for preparing fresh ingredients and supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient operations. This role is critical to delivering high-quality food, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting our cooks and servers.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and portion fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients according to recipes and prep lists
Follow daily prep checklists and maintain organized, clean prep stations
Label, date, and store all prepped items correctly
Monitor inventory of prep items and communicate low stock to Kitchen Manager
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
Clean and sanitize prep areas, equipment, and utensils throughout the shift
Support cooks and kitchen staff as needed during peak hours
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (100% compliance expected)
Uphold Eggs Up Grill's standards for quality, presentation, and guest experience
