Job description

Recently licensed and looking for a carrier that actually invests in new drivers? NIS Express is now hiring entry level Class A drivers for dry van routes across Oklahoma. You'll start with real training and real pay, not promises — and you won't be left to learn the hard way.

PAY BREAKDOWN

  • Training pay: $650/week
  • First 3 months: $1,000/week guaranteed
  • After that: $1,400 to $1,800/week average

HOW IT WORKS
You're paired with a trainer for 4 to 6 weeks. You run actual freight together — not a simulator, not a classroom. Once your trainer clears you, you're on your own.

Training covers:

  • Operating a Class A tractor-trailer safely
  • ELD systems and hours-of-service compliance
  • Pre-trip and post-trip inspection procedures
  • Dispatch communication and company protocol

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Haul dry van freight, mainly east of I-35
  • Bi-weekly home time
  • Full DOT regulation compliance
  • Accurate ELD logs and DVIRs
  • Thorough equipment inspections, every shift
  • Professional communication with dispatch

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum age 21
  • 120 or more hours from an accredited CDL school
  • Clean driving record
  • Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
