The key objective of this position is to grow fresh and frozen foodservice sales within foodservice distribution houses and regional operators, including, but not limited to: Multi Unit Chains, Large Independent Operator Accounts (Ex. K12, C&U, CMC, US Foods, UniPro, Legacy, Sysco, GFS, and Independents) while managing and achieving budget targets.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Key Job Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Achieving sales budget by selling foodservice bakery products into broadline distributors and operators. </li><li>Develop in-depth knowledge of key customers, competitors, and brokers in the Region.</li><li>Daily Management and Development of the broker network.</li><li>Currently the Region has 6 Independent Brokerage houses with approximately $17 million is annual sales.</li><li>Manage and lead new bread line project for the West for new segment and market.</li><li>Will require heavy travel throughout the region as project is deployed.</li><li>Exceed sales targets and meet expectations of key accounts while maintaining strong relationships.</li><li>Attend food shows, conduct broker training, product cuttings and business reviews.</li><li>Manages and negotiates pricing and trade expenditure with customers.</li><li>CRM and Trade Management Platforms use.</li><li>Additional duties as assigned.</li></ul><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Key Behavioral Competencies:</strong></div><ul><li><span>Strategic, independent, analytical thinker with the ability to make decisions and execute tactical plans. </span></li><li><span>Must possess strong driven self-motivation skills.</span></li><li><span>Strong presentation skills, excellent verbal and written skills. </span></li><li><span>Excellent follow-up skills.</span></li><li><span>Proven track record with growth. </span></li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Leadership Competencies: </strong></div><ul><li>Adapts approach and attitude in real time, according to the changing demands of different situations. </li><li>Creates a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives. </li><li>Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments. </li><li>Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.  </li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Education and Work History: </strong></div><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in business management and/or Marketing or Sales required.</span></li><li><span>Minimum of 5 years’ experience with foodservice sales, broker network or distributor sales. Bakery or snack category experience a plus.</span></li><li>Strong sales budget management and financial awareness</li><li>Travel required up to 75%.</li><li><span>Very strong computer skills with Microsoft office, Excel, CRM, Blacksmith, PowerPoint.
