Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments that accurately evaluate clients' mental health status and emotional well-being using standardized tools and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, tailored to each client's unique needs and therapeutic goals.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions encompassing individual, family, and group therapy sessions to promote optimal recovery and self-management skills.
  • Monitor clients' progress over time, making timely adjustments to treatment plans in response to their evolving needs and feedback.
  • Provide crisis intervention support, offering immediate assistance and stabilization to clients experiencing acute distress.
  • Document client interactions meticulously, ensuring accurate, confidential record-keeping in accordance with ethical standards and legal regulations.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate meaningful and holistic care for clients.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in mental health practices, regularly engaging in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in regular supervision and peer consultation sessions to refine therapeutic techniques and enhance clinical practice.
  • Adhere to ethical practices and standards set forth by licensing boards, ensuring professional integrity in all client interactions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional distress. You will serve diverse age groups and backgrounds within the Memphis community, providing culturally sensitive care that acknowledges the unique experiences and preferences of each client. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
  • Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Tennessee, including LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW status.
  • Robust clinical assessment skills demonstrated through previous counseling experience.

Preferred Experience
