  • Refer clients to additional healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and other specialists, to ensure holistic care.
  • Document all client interactions thoroughly and accurately within our EHR system, prioritizing confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and learning from colleagues to enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients represent a diverse population facing various mental health challenges. You will work specifically with adults and adolescents dealing with conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance misuse. Understanding the unique cultural and socioeconomic factors influencing our clients’ mental health will be essential to providing effective, culturally responsive care.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to practice in the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on diverse populations.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with clients.
  • Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
  • Proficiency in using EHR systems and comfortable with remote counseling technologies.
  • A commitment to upholding ethical standards, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing therapy through telehealth platforms.
  • Familiarity with diverse therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions.
  • Previous experience within a community health clinic or a similar setting is an advantage.
