You will interact primarily with clients through virtual platforms, utilizing telehealth technology to deliver services. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and emotional well-being, including history taking and clinical interviews.

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessments and ongoing client discussions, promoting goal-oriented therapy.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions through various modalities, including individual therapy, family sessions, and group therapy, designed to meet diverse client needs.

• Monitoring client progress through clinical documentation and regular sessions, adjusting treatment strategies as required to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Providing crisis intervention and emotional support to clients, helping them navigate acute mental health challenges effectively.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records that comply with HIPAA and other legal standards.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to develop comprehensive care strategies for clients.

• Continuously engaging with the latest developments in mental health treatment and research to enhance your practice.

• Participating in regular supervision and ongoing training opportunities to advance your clinical skills and stay abreast of industry best practices.

• Adhering strictly to ethical guidelines as established by licensing boards and organizations, ensuring the highest standards of care are met at all times.

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and face a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your compassionate approach will empower clients to navigate their challenges and foster lasting positive change in their lives.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to adjust practices based on individual client needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
• A deep-seated empathy and commitment to the well-being of each client you serve.
• Proficient in navigating telehealth platforms and technology to provide effective remote counseling services.
• Knowledge of ethical guidelines and laws governing mental health practice in Oregon.

Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong background in clinical practice and client-focused therapies.
