Job description

The Digital Content Specialist plays a key role in supporting Turtle Wax's Direct to Consumer (DTC) and eCommerce growth by developing, executing, and optimizing content across digital channels. This role is responsible for bringing campaigns and product launches to life through high-impact content across email, web (Product Detail Pages), online marketplaces, and paid media, ensuring assets are both brand-right and performance-driven, with a primary focus on static graphics.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Design original static visual content specifically meant for different digital platforms, including social media, direct-to-consumer (DTC), online marketplaces, email marketing, and paid media channels.
  2. Edit existing static visual content for digital platforms where more micro-adjustments are needed, including but not limited to resizing, color correction, and text overlay.
  3. Utilize AI-assisted design platforms to explore creative concepts, accelerate ideation, and develop engaging visual content that aligns with brand objectives and audience needs.
  4. Collaborate regularly with internal and external (the latter, agency) key stakeholders across different workstreams related to digital visual content, with a proactive mentality and approach toward learning platform best practices, trends, and opportunities.
  5. Ensure all new digital content adheres to established brand and visual guidelines, across master-brands as well as sub-brands, tailored to different audiences.
  6. Work with Marketing team members as well as other cross-functional team members to develop, adopt, and enforce various processes and forms related to new content briefs and ongoing projects.
  7. Regularly sync with Digital Assets Manager to ensure all appropriate visual content is uploaded and the latest on both the Creative Server as well as the company's digital asset management (DAM) platform.

Closing Statement / Other Duties:
  • Work with other Creative Services as well as Social Media teams to prioritize consistency across different visual branded content.
  • Consult with other relevant global and/or regional creative partners to prioritize consistency across global visual branded content.
  • As needed, assist with original content captures, either as an extra eye or as additional support, especially around productions for which the asset output will ultimately be used by this role.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Production, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 4+ years of graphic design experience, primarily focused on digital and consumer-facing assets within a Consumer Product Goods (CPG) brand or agency environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom).
  • Experience with e-commerce photography, basic video editing, and DTC/email platforms (e.g., Shopify, Klaviyo) strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital content best practices across e-commerce and media channels (e.g., Amazon, Meta, Google, TikTok, email, web).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet quick-turn deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail across formats and platforms.
  • Proactive, trend-aware mindset with the ability to continuously learn and apply evolving digital content strategies.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing, E-Commerce, and Creative/Production teams.
  • Working knowledge of marketing principles, digital performance analysis, and content optimization.
  • Familiarity with global brands or agencies and/or automotive categories is a plus.
