Job description

Nail ’Em Down Roofing is looking for a friendly, outgoing Event Assistant / Brand Ambassador to help represent our company at local community events.
This is a great opportunity for college students, marketing students, communications majors, hospitality students, or anyone who enjoys talking with people and being part of a fun, local brand.
The right person will be professional, reliable, approachable, and comfortable speaking with event attendees. No roofing experience is needed. We will provide the information and materials you need before each event.
Responsibilities
Event assistants may help with:
Greeting people who stop by our booth
Encouraging attendees to fill out short forms for a free roof inspection or quote
Handing out giveaways and promotional items
Keeping the event booth neat, organized, and welcoming
Answering basic questions and directing people to the right team member
Assisting with our mascot, Nailson
Possibly wearing the mascot costume, if comfortable
Qualifications
Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with people
Reliable and on time
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Able to stand and walk during events
Comfortable working in a public event setting
Customer service, event, marketing, or promotional experience is helpful but not required
Must be comfortable representing a local company in a professional way
